Sam and Leala were given the task of designing 5 panels for our mural.
They had to include all the cultures in our shool, our school pou, aspects of our school's location and our whanau blocks - Tui, Takahe and Kiwi.

Step 3:
The fun begins!
Our senior (Yr 5/6) art extension team start applying base coats and the hand prints begin! Every child is represented on the mural with at least their hand print. They love doing this!

Handprints. handprints, glorious handprints. Here are some very happy kids getting the chance to put their prints on the panels.

Step 4 - Black outlines.

Step 5:

Resene UV protective vanish.
Now it's nice and shiny!

Step 6: Up it goes!

We did it!!!
